There or more than 100 positive reviews with posted titles such as “Absolutely amazing set!!!” “Great for the price” “Love it!” and “Very Satisfied.” Value for the money was a common theme for many reviewers. Sturdiness, durability, easy setup, portability and overall good quality of the components that make up this set was expressed often by a majority of the amazon.com and other online reviewers.
Cons
The critical reviews for this set are definitely worth considering when deciding on whether or not to purchase. Nearly all of the critical reviews reported missing or defective pieces. The manufacturer or seller did respond to some of these reviews and offered to replace or resend whatever was defective or missing. The included ball was cited several times even among 4 and 5 star reviews for being very low quality, cheap and not very durable. Height was another issue for positive and critical reviewers. The sales listing, at least on amazon.com, shows “adjustable steel poles” although according to the amazon.com Questions Answer section, the poles are not adjustable or telescoping. In response to a customer question, a Baden Sports, Inc. representative confirmed that the poles are fixed and set to regulation height (7ft 11 5/8”) when fully assembled. However, according to another reviewer, height can be adjusted by moving the rope that attaches the net to the pole up and down and then tying off at the desired height.
